“People who love to eat are always the best people” ~~ Julia Child.
Well, can’t argue on me being best or not, but yet, I consider food to be the noblest job of all – be it making or serving.

Hello Peeps! Welcome to my blog. I’m Chahat. I’m from Montreal, Canada and I pretty much love everything that I see or live.

Being Indian, I’m a hardcore desi food lover, just as everyone else.
I miss Indian street food, shaadi (wedding) dinners, Diwali/Holi sweets, Home cooked brunch with friends and family. But staying so far away from my home country, it doesn’t stop me from trying out different and interesting Indian delicacies. What’s most interesting about food is, it doesn’t see any race, region, religion, caste, creed, or sex for that matter. That’s how I found my extreme love and respect for cooking and serving.
More than just a passion, cooking is like meditation for me. It helps me to relax, rejuvenate and de-stress.

Now, there are probably hundreds of food blogs found online. They can be confusing as to which one to follow. Don’t get me wrong, I myself got inspired through these lovely blogs. But what makes my blogs different is :
1. Simplest ingredients used easily available in any local superstore.
2.Authenticity.
3.Fast and simpler way of cooking.
4.The uncompromised taste.
5.Best of all, since I’m born Punjabi, it doesn’t really affect my food. I can make Punjabi tadka, just as simple and yummy as I can make South Indian lip smacking chutneys. “Because the recipe I follow is Passion” (smiles)

So here I am to share with you some finger licking delicious and super easy recipes which you can enjoy at home.
So lets escape to a better world of aroma and taste. Happy Cooking!!
