Ragda Patties (Aloo Tikki Chat)

What do you do when you have left over chole and you don’t feel like eating is again 😉 This is what Chikoo do ,Use it for making the most WANTED street chaat of India ..RAGDA PATTIES 😉 So lets learn how to make and eat this mouth watering  chaat.

  • Left over Chole
  • 1 medium size Onion chopped into small pieces
  • Sweet tamarind chutney
  • Green chutney
  • Nylon sev or Normal Sev/Bhujia
  • Curd
  • Chat Masala
  • Red Chilly Powder
  • Roasted Cumin Powder
  • 1 Tomatoes Chopped (dessed)
  • Chopped Coriander
  • Some Panipuri ka Puri( Golgappa)
  • For Aloo Tikki
  • 3 boiled potatoes mashed
  • 1/2 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Chopped Coriander leaves
  • 1/2 tspn Chat masala
  • 1/4 Black salt
  • 1/2 tspn Chilly flakes
  • 1/4 tspn garam masala
  • Oil to fry.


  • Mix the tikki ingredients along with poatoes and mix well.
  • Make small patties and shallow fry on fry pan till golden brown on both the ends.
  • How to serve?
  • Place 1-2 tikki on a plate or katori or bowl or silver foil bowl.
  • Pour the hot chola on the top.
  • Garnish- Start with onion,tomatoes,curd,green chutney,tamarind chutney then sprinkle cumin powder,salt,chilly powder,chaat masala powder.
  • Now crush the puri over the chat & sprinkle some sev/bhujia.
  • Enjoy the delicious Ragda pattiesTing !!!! 😉
